Looking to Hire a Financial Aid Peer Advisor (APASA)
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service via front desk, phones, and email
- Time commitment: 8-10 hours per week
- Serve as a source of information and advice students and families regarding scholarships and financial aid
- Provide ongoing education about financial aid processes and procedures
- Special projects as assigned
- This position may require front desk hours after training with OFSA
- Serve as liaison between Office of Scholarship & Financial Aid (OFSA) and APASA
Job specific requirements:
- This position requires meticulous and extensive use of UAccess
- Work as part of a project team to coordinate customer service efforts
- Serve as a source of information and advice for students and families regarding scholarship and financial aid
- Provide ideas and feedback about office operations
- Ability to complete training in federal regulations, scholarships and financial aid, and client service skills
Must be available starting July 26th, 2021
*Federal Work Study Preferred. $12.15/hour*
