Bio: Hello everyone! I’m currently a Senior majoring in Physiology and Medical Sciences. I have the privilege of serving as the President of Pre-Health APAMSA and as the Resident Assistant for the APIDA Scholars Living Learning Community at Yavapai Dorm, which is overseen by APASA. I’m excited to work with my peers to lay the groundwork for the inaugural Asian Pacific American Student Council here the UofA, leveraging our unity to overcome the challenges that we face as a community.

My name is Maddie Tibayan, and I’m a senior studying Chemistry with a minor in Government and Public Policy. Throughout my college career, I have been grateful to serve as FASA’s Treasurer, President, and current Senior advisor.  I plan to pursue a PhD in Chemistry after graduating.

Hello! My name is Lydia Nguyen and I am a current senior studying Physiology and Medical Sciences! I am excited to serve as the 1st Director of Administration for APASC! My experiences with the organization of the 4th Floor Town Hall and speaking at the Arizona Board of Regents meeting was truly core to my determination to ensure the success of APASC and unity within APASA organizations in future years! Outside of APASC, you'll find me trying new coffee shops and restaurants in the area! (I love coffee!) I am also the current Director of Golden Lotus and the Social Media Coordinator (Graphics) of the Pre-Health Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association!

I am a sophomore studying Pharmaceutical Sciences and minoring in Sports Nutrition, on the pre-medicine track. I like to bake, cook, and stay active in any way I can. I am excited about being a Director of media, and can't wait to be involved in an opportunity that I hold very close to me.

John Piamonte is currently a third-year student double majoring in Psychological Science and Neuroscience and Cognitive Science here at the University of Arizona. Throughout his time at the university, John has acquainted himself with many of APASA's diverse range of clubs and organizations. From serving as the president and previous event coordinator for the Filipino American Student Association (FASA) to serving as the last project director for the Pre-health Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association (APAMSA), John is now taking up a new role as one of the inaugural Directors of Internal Outreach for the Asian Pacific American Student Council. Inspired by the strong community of APASA, John is ready to serve on this council to continue to grow the foundations of APASA and advocate for this community to the greater university campus.

Hi, I am Carol! I am a sophomore from Chandler/Gilbert, Arizona. I am majoring in Neuroscience and Cognitive Science and minoring in Spanish and Health and Human Values. In APASA, I am mainly involved with Pre-Health APAMSA as the Director of Volunteer Outreach. I am also part of Dr. Ying-Hui Chou's Brain Imaging and TMS Lab on campus. Some of my hobbies include crocheting, rock climbing, painting, and baking.

Hello!

My name is Auhona Shil and I am a freshman majoring in Physiology and Medical Sciences and minoring in Health and Human Values. I’m from Tucson, Arizona. When I’m not locked in on schoolwork, I like to teach Indian Classical dance to kids and take them to perform in various cultural events. I’m also involved in Scouting, both Boys and Girls Scouts. I am one of the first female Eagle Scouts in our nation.

Hi! My name is Ethan Evangelista and I am a Junior here studying Nutrition & Human Performance alongside a minor in Physiology. I have been involved with APASA since my freshman year serving as an intern for the Filipino-American Student Association and later serving as the Event Coordinator. In the past two and a half years, I've developed enduring connections with so many loving and caring people from staff to fellow students and I hope to share these experiences with all of you! It is an honor to serve as your Co-Director of External Outreach this semester!
